The Whitaker - Huntingdon
Inn is located in the 1883 cir. home of Debbie and Bill Saxman and
overlooks beautiful 32 acre Forsyth Park and its historic fountain.
The Inn is located on the southwestern corner of Whitaker and Huntingdon
Streets and faces the 1853 historic water fountain located on the north
end of
Forsyth Park.
The park is available for bicycling, roller blading,
tennis, and strolling or jogging along its one mile long, azalea and Live Oak
lined perimeter or interior landscaped spaces.
Bill and Debbie represent the fifth family to own
this home which has original heart pine floors, 12 foot ceilings, plaster
medallions, period lighting, family pictures, oriental rugs, antiques, clocks,
and reproduction furnishings.
Currently two - 2 bedroom suites are available with
queen size poster beds. Both suites also have a queen size sleeper couch.
Both suites have a private bath and kitchenette.
A continental plus breakfast is set out for our guest so that they may set their own breakfast schedules.
